SMS Terms & Opt-In Consent

Last updated: June 3, 2026

SIVANA sends SMS text messages only to people who have given express, separate consent by checking the optional consent box on our contact form. Opting in to SMS is never required to use our website, contact us, or purchase our services.

Two ways customers opt in

SIVANA supports two SMS programs: (1) a website opt-in for people who contact us, described below, and (2) a verbal opt-in for salon customers who book an appointment by phone, described in the next section.

Appointment texts — phone (verbal) opt-in

When you book an appointment by phone with a business using SIVANA's AI front desk, you may be asked whether you'd like to receive a text confirmation and reminder for your appointment. If you verbally agree, we send those texts to the number you provide.

These texts are transactional and related to your appointment only. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency depends on your bookings. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent is optional and is never required to book. We do not share your number or opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing.

Verbal consent script

During a phone booking, the AI front desk asks for SMS consent using a script substantially similar to the following:

"Before we finish — would you like to receive text messages from the salon you're booking with about this appointment? This includes a confirmation and a reminder before your visit. Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out or HELP for help. Would you like to receive these texts?"

We send appointment texts only to callers who answer yes. The caller's verbal agreement is recorded with their phone number and the date and time of consent.

Program description

If you opt in, SIVANA may send you text messages related to your inquiry, onboarding, and account (such as responses to your request and service updates).

How to opt in

You opt in by checking the clearly-labeled, unchecked-by-default consent box on our contact form and submitting the form. This is a distinct, intentional, optional action — separate from the rest of the form.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

How to opt out

You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send one confirmation message and then stop sending texts. To resume, reply START.
